Hi people, just thought i would give you a insight to making a new model, this one is ready for casting, just placed all the master bits together to see how it looks when all the bits come together, its been made from scratch use various thickness of plactic card and other bits an pieces from plastruct.
This is now ready for casting, and thats the fun bit, .. oh anyone know what the model will be ?
Hope this will be of intrest to some of you.

Thanks for the comments Jeremy, but trying to call you but you never is in..
Its in 1/35 scale, i wanted to do it in 1/50th but JCB would not let as corgi will be doing it in that scale, and it was J.C.Balls 7 that i took all the info from to make the master. Its now going through the moulding process, so pics of the finished model will be done in a couple of weeks. I hope to do a 580C in this scale this year too.
As you know i have allways wanted to do the 880, but just cant find a real one to use to take dimensions from, sure i can guess or use some dimensions from a sales leaflet but not the same...

Looks another great model in the making, got to do a 22 RB mate as they are true classic machines,any plans for one? Keep up the good work.

Hi Martyn, i saw the other day somewhere about a company called EMD doing a 22rb shovel die cast in 1/50th scale, dont know whether they have plans to do any other variation of it though, but afraid i dont have any plans to do something like that again. hymac 580c, MF 244, b100 drott all in 1/35th are my plans so far, and maybe a mustang in 1/50th.
