Had the day off work today to go and get a bit more done on my 580BT to be fair the weather was too crap for any painting to be done, however I did manage to get the 'Peter Hamilton Equipment' badge fitted in the cab, got the engine stop cable fitted and working properly after my disaster when the clip sprung off and disappeared never to be seen again.
The stop cable was rectified by a home made bracket which works a treat

I fitted the badge in the cab and got some fuel put in her ready for the working event which is very nearly upon us. For those going to the working event I would say that wellington boots are a must as I can't see the ground and mud drying up before the 25th and it is very muddy up there at the minute, mind the weather could turn colder in which case the ground would freeze.
I gave her a good run as I always do; I had wanted to do some last minute touching up before the working event but alas it was not meant to be.
