Took this photo yesterday at Millbrook Cornwall whilst collecting Drott spares.You may need to click on photo to enlarge.Devonport naval base is across the water.Plus photo taken on the Torpoint ferry.

Martyn I can't see any rubber dingy's in your photo? After all the cut backs I think thats what the Royal Navy will be left with. :lol:

I know theres a few 944s knocking around up here anyway....i keep seeing the smaller 916's and the like on low loaders....about 4 in the past 2 weeks where as i never used to see any! Might just be in the right place at the right time haha

Jeremy,what I did notice at Devonport was a large line of metal baths being sprayed battleship grey.One had an ironing board strapped to it.This may be Arkroyals replacement.Also noticed a box of airfix kits,that may be our new fighters.
The Torpoint ferry was a nice trip and only cost £1.50 return.The van had to work much harder on the return trip as it was loaded with Drott spares. :lol:

Well another month another photo competition, i'll throw my couple in, first up our PC3000 backhoe parked up with one of our shovels in background, the second, trucks parked up in a line.

It was a bit of a quick turnaround.I was at my mates at Ashburton at 0815.then on to Millbrook.Was back home and unloaded by 1700.Wish we had more time down your way,we would have loved to sample a fryup :lol:

The timber jack does it for me! Only ever worked on one forestry machine, a 320 with a harvester head fitted.
