Post #1 by Tracshovel » Sun Mar 09, 2008 8:00 pm

Here is a pic of a Komatsu D45-s tracked loader. It still gets an outing now and then and is in great condition.

It belongs to a groundworker/ house builder called O'Brien Homes. They work across Scotland. It is apparently one of the first machines that the owner bought and he does not want to get rid of it.

Well I am kind of guessing here but it sounds as if you are living in Scotland then ;)

Be nice to hear a bit about yourself in the member introductions section ;) :D

Are you an operator or in the game at all or just interested in machines ??

To help keep things tidy i've included this here.
Spotted this while surfing the web- a Komatsu D66S-1 Tracked Shovel- one of the rare rear engined models listed for sale on the website of Equatrek (UK) Ltd, the sister company to HCL Equipment Services.
S/N 1882
Hours 17640

Slight Damage to Rear RAD Cover
Very Tidy for Year

I've only ever seen two in photos before this one and never seen one out at work so to speak.

There don't seem to be many Komatsu loaders in preservation.
