To save the operator leaning forward when loading lorries. Ugly? They were a work of art. Some of the ugliest cabs I have seen were on the European Cats. See pic below.

I laughed to myself at the name " Sun Trac"....it's like they are selling you something that brings sunshine to your tractor.
I'd have gone for SleetSaver,FogBuster,GloomLoader,RainShield, blah,blah !!

Nice pics again Craig. I think you have been busier than me though. The only one of those I have seen is the 1st one of the paddling cat. Their main competitors at the time were 'TractorVision' - and that gives you some clue about just how good visibility was from their cabs!
