To save the operator leaning forward when loading lorries. Ugly? They were a work of art. Some of the ugliest cabs I have seen were on the European Cats. See pic below.

I laughed to myself at the name " Sun Trac"....it's like they are selling you something that brings sunshine to your tractor.
I'd have gone for SleetSaver,FogBuster,GloomLoader,RainShield, blah,blah !! :lol:

Nice pics again Craig. I think you have been busier than me though. The only one of those I have seen is the 1st one of the paddling cat. Here are a few more I have found in the last few weeks of wasting time trawling pics on the net. Some have been picked from other parts of this site and been appropriately added here. Enjoy !

Jim,

Their main competitors at the time were 'TractorVision' - and that gives you some clue about just how good visibility was from their cabs! :lol:
