Hi all.
Recently gave coles argus crane an engine transplant. The battery compartment ses + earth. I was going to swop dynamo for alternator. the only instruments in the cab are an ammeter and a air pressure gauge, I cant see a problem but some say you cant do it. The crane is diesel electric im assuming all the old switch gear is supplied from the generator not battery any suggestions.
