JCB 3C versus 3CX pallet forks

Post #1 by Yozza » Wed Mar 27, 2013 11:24 pm

Hello,

When ever I use my pallet forks around soft ground it can be a bit cumbersome as they tend to catch the rough grassy ground when I withdraw the forks from the pallet (they tend to swing forward and jack up the pallet). Does that make sense? :wtf:

Looking at the 3CX, these appear to have a mechanism (pin) to stop the forks from swinging on the bar (please correct me here if I'm wrong)?

If so, does anyone know if these can be retro fitted to a 3C machine?

Thanks,
Yozza

As the pallet forks are difficult to see from the cab, your always going to have this problem
Is you reverse, you need to adjust the loader height and th bucket curl to prevent this happening
