Founds some other bits and bobs of interest so looked at registering to bid...

£200 deposit required, or £500 to £1000 if you aren't known to the auctioneers refundable 3 days after the end if the auction...ummm....

I've pinged them an e-mail to find out a bit more about registering to bid and if they can pallet anything up to allow it to be shipped as travelling there from Kent is a bit of a no-go in lockdown!

They are a long established well thought of auction mart.
You don't last long if you mess farmers about imho :D
Will help loading with forklift but your on your own otherwise AFAIK.
Think most people would count picking up JCB parts as business travel.

Yeah, I got that impression from their T&C's but no harm in asking given the current circumstances regarding travel

Slooby I would think that Craig is correct as stated you can claim legitimate business travel, even so you would have thought that some of these auctions would organise carriage for a fee, they might just get a few more bidders if they went that extra mile for the customer!

No harm in asking as you say , this is a always a massive auction ( biggest in area by far) held regularly throughout the year over many acres of ground so it would be big hassle to offer delivery service and then their is the security aspect.

What are the parts off Slooby, are they 3CX?

There were a pair of 18.4x26 tyres that looked in a lot better condition than mine, a quick hitch for a 3CX, and possibly a cheap steam cleaner, that caught my eye as currently at sane prices.

The auctioneers list a few local hauliers, and they mention having an on site forklift for loading so I was just wondering if they can strap anything won to a pallet
