Black cab Manual

Hi, I have downloaded the 3CX 1400b version of the workshop manual from this site which seems very useful as a guide, but from reading around here it is for slightly later models than my 1987 black cab ( I have not tried using it for any jobs yet so can not verify for myself) but I will service it within the next few weeks (when i get half a chance).

Out of curiosity, i rang my local JCB dealer and they can supply any service manual if you supply them with your serial number, but it costs £300!!!. They will also supply the users manual for £40.

My question is, has anyone else used the download available on this website for carrying out a lot of work on their 3CX of similar vintage to mine without coming across loads of problems or missing/wrong information?

The thing is, I don't want to undertake any major jobs to realise half way through that the manual is useless, but I also don't want to splash out £300 on a service manual which is essentially the same, bar a couple of minor changes.
