jcb 3c compression test

Hi all, can someone tell me what compression test kit I need to test on a jcb 3c II nuffield 4/65 engine.

never done a diesel test before but am I right in thinking I remove the injectors?

looking for a real cheapie kit that will do the job.

I made a DIY one years ago to do a Peugeot. I just knocked the guts out of an old glow plug and coupled it to a cheap pressure gauge via a short length of rubber hose. It worked a treat - no max reading 'hold' facility but you can get by without.

If there's no glo plug holes then maybe you could adapt an old injector or use a BSP adaptor if they are a 'screw-in' type?
