MF 50H backhoe control system malfunction.

Post #1 by ivanbratanov1234 » Fri Oct 24, 2025 10:07 am

Hello! I have a MF 50H year 1992 which has a problem with the backhoe system - one of the hyrdaulic cylinders retracts but does not extend. I pointed my attention to the system that controls those cylinders, including the joysticks and the hydraulic valves. Unfortunately the wiring diagrams of the backhoe control system are not present in any technical document, not even in the dedicated repair service manual. There is a file for 50H wiring for download here but it still contains the basic electric system but not the backhoe system.

https://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/app.php/dl_ext/?view=detail&df_id=310

I'd like to ask to provide me those wiring diagrams to start seraching for the problem.

Thank you!

Hi Ivan

I don't know anything about your machine but it would point to either linkage/cable not actuating the spool or internal spool damage. Is there somewhere on the boom or dipper where you could easily and temporarily swap pipes to help identify the problem? Good luck.

Have you checked the Downloads Section? There is a Wiring Diagram and Operators Manual for the 50H

Edit:
... and Parts Catalogue
