It leaks ONLY on that valve spool shown on the picture.. the One on the left SIDE of the valve spool assembly...

The first and rather obvious comment is that the valve shouldn't leak and clearly need repairing.

I can't really make out much in the photo and I am not familiar with the set up but are you sure there is not a union weeping on the return line?
