I think the string of red/white bunting is in the pile of sundry detritus behind the digger. They'll get 'round to it once they've finished their tea. That looks like a site catering van so I wonder what else is going on behind the camera?

I was told a long time ago that when the motorways were built, instead of moving the caravans they were crushed and buried on site. Those do look like they are in a position ready to be composted and landscaped.

The caravans are below the surrounding landscape!

The excavator is a JCB 5C  yes how things have changed and sadly not always for the best, today there would be traffic lights which take forever to change with multiple warning signs and barriers.

I worked on a few big jobs with 'caravan sites' attached.
The things that went on there.
Mainly involving women and drink !
Not all those who wander are lost.

How long ago were the Rush Green photos taken?

The 2BII looks quite early, the 3CIII I suspect is one of the very last. Hope someone can get them back to top condition.

As they are in Rush Green they will probably rot away to nowt, have heard that the owner always wants 'top dollar' for anything so you would not be able to bag a bargain.

Pitty, always feel machines in such hands are very unfortunate.
