McNallys LTM11200 & LTM1500 in West Limerick, Ireland **Updated 2/3/11**

Post #1 by Noel » Sun Feb 27, 2011 4:50 pm

Well lads, myself and two other crane enthusiasts hit off on a road trip to West Limerick yesterday in search of McNallys Liebherr LTM11200. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to see the beast while it is home on Irish soil. Here's a few pics to start with, i'll post some more later..

Great Shots there Noel, well dont on finding her, hard to belive you could lose a beast like this, but well worth the trip, have to say would have killed to join you, but maybe some other time,
im a little intreged as to why the Number plates are not on either the 112 or 1500,
keep the posts coming, the site seems to be alive with great Photos with these few new members joining in the past few weeks.

Thanks guys i'll upload some more pics if you want.

Leo, its strange about the number plates alright as they were still on the back of both cranes. The 1500 was a UK reg so it must be over from their scottish depot. The convoi exceptionel sign from the roof of the 112 was lying on one of the outrigger mats too, not sure why that was taken off either.

I wish I did, they'd look great on the wall of my model room beside the mcnallys 11200 model!

Here's 3 shots of the back of the 112..

very surprised with Cathel and he didnt get the Number plate 09-MH-112

Now had registered it in Leitrim and be very smart it could have been 09-L M-112 and with a little sign writing put a small T between the L M,

now that is thinking outside the Box
