A step back in time

Once upon a time, some 40 odd years ago, this street scene could have been any day of the week in Fleet.

This gathering though was to lead Fleet Carnival.

Nice selection, the star has to be the Dexta (looks like an early one, shouldn't have badges on the bonnet), not many were made and even fewer survive. Pitty no Major based County's were there, as they were the ones where the big developments were made (Fourdrive, Super 4 and Super 6 plus the less convenient bog crawler and not to mention the Sea Horse). A six wheel County converted Thames Trader would have been a good extra to carry the crawler.
