This is now ready for casting, and thats the fun bit, .. oh anyone know what the model will be ?

Hope this will be of intrest to some of you.

Thanks for the comments Jeremy, but trying to call you but you never is in..
Its in 1/35 scale, i wanted to do it in 1/50th but JCB would not let as corgi will be doing it in that scale, and it was J.C.Balls 7 that i took all the info from to make the master. Its now going through the moulding process, so pics of the finished model will be done in a couple of weeks. I hope to do a 580C in this scale this year too.

As you know i have allways wanted to do the 880, but just cant find a real one to use to take dimensions from, sure i can guess or use some dimensions from a sales leaflet but not the same...

Hi Martyn, i saw the other day somewhere about a company called EMD doing a 22rb shovel die cast in 1/50th scale, dont know whether they have plans to do any other variation of it though, but afraid i dont have any plans to do something like that again. hymac 580c, MF 244, b100 drott all in 1/35th are my plans so far, and maybe a mustang in 1/50th.
