Dumper - no power
Morning all, I was wondering if you experienced mechanics could help me and guide me in the right direction. The petter engine on my dumper is running but lacks any power. Please could you offer me advice? Many thanks.

Re: Dumper - no power
Hi Alex, well start by checking the easy things first which is; a good clean fuel supply, a clean air filter and that any flexi-intake pipe/hose is not collapsing internally, also check that the brakes are not binding on, perhaps you could give us some more details.

Re: Dumper - no power
Evening all,
After some investigation, it is the clutch slipping! It is a brake drum / chain drive set up so going to adjust and hope this works!
If not I will be researching how to change the clutch.
Thanks to everyone who helped.

Re: Dumper - no power
Alex, glad you have found the problem, hopefully that should have been the most difficult part of the process.
