CAT 307B - New Design ????

Post #1 by Tracshovel » Sat Apr 19, 2008 8:12 pm

I came across this machine the other day....tucked away in the corner of a yard. On first sight from a distance I thought it was a new fangled reduced radius multi purpose boom machine.

...............Closer inspection revealed a bit more..

Nick,

Yes I have some other shots of it but I cannot show the company name or location - hence the shaded shot above. Quite a compact 7 tonner now ! ...........but their bill for damages will not be just as compact

Jeremy,

Spot on! ...............The driver loaded the machine pointing forward with the boom sticking way up. Needless to say when driven at 30mph into a 14'6" bridge it did what you see above. One machine written off, a huge bill from railtrack and the driver recieving an envelope for his endevors........ P45 with immediate effect!
