777B wrong way up

Post #1 by SRB » Wed Sep 09, 2009 1:26 pm

I Guess this must have been taken around 1996 (ish) at Wimpey mining Bleakhouse OCCS, the tip gave way underneath her and she backflipped down. Guy was in a bit of a state, smashed pelvis among other injuries, the truck faired slightly better, replaced the cab straightened out the canopy and she went back to work, no engine damage at all.
Was put down to the poor weather nothing to do with the operator.

Great pics. Looks like a good time to get the grease gun out and lubricate the chassis and prop shafts

D9N & D8L and i think it was a RH40E flipped it back over, as i remember went smoothly, it lay on its back for best part of week, you could see it from parts of Cannock and surrounding ares, lying there like a dying fly!
