JCB 3C II 1973 Engine serial No. 6797 Leyland 4/98NT.
How to replace Fan belt, remove hydraulic pump/just unbolt from pulley?

It is many years since I changed a fan belt on a 3C, but I think if you can remove the bolts holding the shaft to the crank pully, you can get enough space by sliding the shaft on the splines. It is a bit of a pig if I remember correctly. Some tie back a spare belt at the same time. I found that a waste of time as the couple of times I did that, the belt was either rubbed or oil contaminated.

Just unbolt the shaft from the pulley, don't put a second belt as Pete says for those reasons. Bolts are awkward.
