She near took my soul but the Hymac wouldn't budge and won't be going anywhere soon - I hope.

Hi Chris glad your nearly out of the woods so as to speak; I know from the last time that I spoke to you that you had sadly disposed of many of your Hymac's and I thought the 580D had gone west too. :(
Glad you still have the 580D please post some pics of it now if its finished.

Hi Jeremy - thanks for that - its been tough to say the least - but every cloud has a silver lining and am much happier to have moved on in a lot of ways for the better. I near went mental tho lol :arrrrgh: - aye I used to contribute a lot to CMN before and would be nice to resurrect my hobby/business again for everybody to share in. The 580D just needs the cab fitted out in foam, seat, wiring, dashboard and window wipers etc. the main body is just lacking the black stripes and decals and then just have to fit the dipper linkages and that should be her ready for public viewing. So ill take this as a bit of inspiration now to get her finally finished :P

Ah William - what a nice thing to say :D yes the perils of separation really took its toll on me - i spent nearly the past 2 years battling to see my own kids and won of course but it was so devastating that my passion for all thing diggers took a back seat. Well they say time changes and heals everything and Thank God I'm back in the driving seat again.
Would love a yard full of diggers again soon. Here I see you've got an 805B as well - any pictures of her???

Thanks again for your nice comments - Chris
