Not many Fiat Alis machines around, don't think any has been put into preservation / restored.

Hi,
A crowd from Chepstow I used to do some work for ran a Fiat Allis digger.
I don't remember the model but it was about 18 tonner size.
It was pretty good, certainly ran rings round my Hymac 880 on site.
It was pretty well made too, strong enough to survive a colision with a bridge on the M4 anyway.
I think the lowloader driver was probably looking for a new job.

Cant for the life of me think who, but there was a company running a number of Fiatallis machines back in the 80's. Fiatallis were offering a 3 year warranty on all new machines at the time, so they'd bought quite a few IIRC.

back in the late 70s early 80s a firm near us at home had a number of F/A S90s, thing I always remember about them was they had a ram up on the back end of the boom for digging closer to the machine.
They also tried out a Benfra backhoe loader
