A trifle more subtle than the guy that I worked for for a while who would say "lick'em and stick'em and up the road"!
(remember sticking stamps on National Insurance cards?)
Actually he was a really nice guy and we kept in touch till he passed away.

Blackwells are making good progress in Scotland and are undertaking a number of wind farm and earthworks led projects and they have acquired a specialist demolition company in Grangemouth called Mastertons. To my knowledge they are a relatively new entrant to the Scottish market.

Can anyone recall if Blackwells have worked in Scotland in the past - I am particularly interested to know if they had undertaken muckshifting projects during the heyday of motorway construction from the 60s to the early 80s.

Any information or anecdotes would be read with great interest.

they were at Muirkirk about 1991 with some Cat 245's,D400's and D8K's shifting some overburden on a coal site.
They also had a D9G pushing Levacks 637's at Kirconnal for Crouch.
