Hi there,
My name is Jeremy and since a week I'm a proud owner of this puppy:

It's a Zetor 25K (high on the wheels, low on the top speed) from the 1950's, although I don't know the exact year yet.
Right now it's in the same state a friend imported it from the Czech Republic, but he mentioned the engine should have had a revision.
The waterpump leaks, the gearbox oil contains some water, so I doubt anything has been done with it since long.
However, even with a starter that seems weak (I'll have to look in to that too ) it's easy to get running.
Oh, and the wiring in the cabin reminds me of pictures I saw of Bangkok.
Because I'll only use it for my hobby (which would be driving around, going to events and some competitions in mowing grass and plowing) I'm looking in to what it takes to make it a fast runner. I'm trying to find out what gears are replacable and are easily found. From a Czech manual i found thus far, only the highest gear is different from the others. But theory and practice can be two completely different things.
While looking for spare parts and spare part catalogs I stumbled upon this place, where I found an excellent catalog with everything in German, English and Czech and an exploded view of every itty-bitty part there is. Thank you very much for that.
I haven't seen much of this tractor here, but maybe there's more.
Well that's all!

Hi Jeremy welcome to the site that's a nice looking tractor you have there; you will have to keep us updated on the work that you carry out on the machine.
