As a kid I often went to 'work' with my dad who drove a PF90 and a BK90 for Kent County Council. As part of the 'gang' they had several AB rollers including a Tandem Roller (8Ton) that was retrofitted with a 'chipper' unit to deliver chips as it rolled the HRA.
Looking on the net I can find plenty of standard TR2 pictures, but none of a chipper unit fitted - does anyone have any?
here is a standard TR2
and here is a 'brochure' image that shows a 'chipper' option in the top left:

The first 2 photos are from the original 1964 brochure.
The second 2 are the 1968 version showing the TR with cab(unusual) and the updated chipper.
Anyone wishing to share the photos pleas credit Aveling Barford Archive.

They looked like a handy bit of kit for narrow roads, a lot handier than a dedicated chipping spreader.
Is the Tarmac one above in colour really 1974 as plate ?
