Yeh its quite an experience when one of those stone trains moves in on the line next to you when you are just sat in a Case 988 !!

One suddenly felt very small
Used to be about five or six of us spaced out ready to dig the stone out of the wagons, just horse it out and then the dozer would follow up grading it out!
Wish I had taken more photos during my spell on the rails !!
