This machine originally started life in Austrailia on opencast work. It was imported to the UK and sold to DSM Demolition who had Kocurek build a LRD boom onto it.....probably the longest reach demo machine at the time in the UK. After DSM ordered a new longer demo machine then the Liebherr passed to Scotdem Demolition. Scotdem went bust and the machine worked under the receivers ownership with Dem-master completing the contract. It was then sold to Hunter Demolition who operated it for a few years. They have now bought a new machine so the Liebherr has been traded in and passed into the hands of a machinery trader who is selling it on ebay. I wonder who would take a chance with that old girl these days......? It was hard worked when it came from down under.
