I have to say they were good old machines, I was driving this old 215 only a couple of years ago up in Cambridge for my old mates James King Earthmoving ....Great lads !! real salt of the earth blokes, none of this I'm the boss bullshit

It was a really good machine even for its age !

As far as I am aware this old girl is still putting in a good days work!

That machine was featured in there earthmovers article a while back.
They got some nice looking kit actually. They had there Bomag Grader leveling the stone for the new lane on the M1 widening. Is it Geordie's? I think thats the name that was on it

You got it Joe!!

I arranged for the Earthmovers article, And yes it was me sat in the 215 photo!!

The job was at a place called Arbury just off junc 32 of the A14.

Yes Geordie is the grader driver ...he's a good lad ...Partys hard but works hard too!! ;)

They are currently working on a bypass job near Desford in Leicester ! They are running a Hyundai 500 excavator on this job !

I may be up there working for them again soon if things dont pick up down here.

Back on the road again!!

I dont think desford is that far from where im currently working...i can definately say ive seen signage for it on the way. I remember seeing some of there ADT's on the side of the road near cambridge when i was coming home from somewhere. I vaguely remember seeing that massive halla on a Low loader somewhere too
