Re: JCB3D || color rall

Nice pics, unfortunately no RAL number, the colour is lemon chrome (part no. 4200/1104) with red wheels (part no. 4200/1904) and white cab.

3CII original headlight bulbs

Hi all, I've been a bit puzzled by the specifications for the headlight bulbs (which are BPF dual filament DC bulbs), as the manual says they're 36/36W but the JCB parts website says it's the now very common 50/40W (bulb no. 414). Julian Carder said in the Haynes book that the headlights and worklig...

Re: Jcb 3c

The oil capacity is 43 gallons, but many run much lower, however you should still be prepared just in case. The main strainer is as shown, I can't see one in the Mk1 (but from your description I don't think you have a Mk1). The steering strainer is between the grille and radiator (and as mentioned n...

Re: Fuso Tadano TS75M Crane ( Classic ? )

I don't think any other tractor would be seen doing that with the Major so clearly still in full use! Probably difficult to come across a bunch of 50 tractors that are all the same basic design without Major's.

Like the JCB in the snow with the Land-Rover, a combination we see here (not the snow or anywhere else as far as I know) but not working like that.

The steering wheel and a bit of rear axle top cover look like a Major (or that's what I think).

The fishermen have long enjoyed the easy starting of Major's, I can't remember where there was a town with over 20 in a parking square with the odd other tractor too. The Major is just so versatile!

I doubt the Ford model A would have had sufficient poke for a full size road compressor and a pump. Out of interest, I wonder when porta...
