Re: Yanmar pistons & lift pump identification

That's great thanks. They are remarkably similar, but thats not where we got them from. I've been googling for ages trying to find out some info and never saw that site.

Yanmar pistons & lift pump identification

I've got some Yanmar pistons and fuel lift pumps which I'd like to identify, is there any way to do this? The pistons have the star shape combustion chamber, and ML545, ML550, MS545 or MS550 and an A stamped into the crown. On the underside is the Yanmar logo and 4 Izumi, other than that I can't see...

Re: 1982 3CX Rear Window Frame Parts

Ahh Ok I get you. I will make the spindle a bit longer. Although I guess it just needs the spindle pushing through some more and the hole for the split pin drilled 11mm closer to the free end? Looks like theres plenty of length left on the spindles to do that.

Re: 1982 3CX Rear Window Frame Parts

I wasn't going to. I thought once the spindles were in the tubes in the window frame then it would have no room to move side to side, so everything would stay together. How are yours attached?

Re: 1982 3CX Rear Window Frame Parts

Thanks once again. Got the rollers knocked up, found some 50mm teflon round bar for that. Just need to scrounge something for the spindles now!

Re: 1982 3CX Rear Window Frame Parts

Ok, I'll see what I can lay my hands on. No worries about that, I'm away with work for a while so wont be able to fit them until I'm home, although I'll need to make them here.

Re: 1982 3CX Rear Window Frame Parts

Also material would be handy to know, I was thinking of using plastic for the rollers.
