Re: Recent I.O.W trip

I wonder, given the location of the little Kubota, is it owned by the Church/Council and used for gravedigging, especially given the width of that bucket.....

Re: Clugstons Cement Renault Premium

I was told a story by a driver at Weldon Plant, a few years back. IIRC it was a gentleman called John Nichol, who'd been with Weldon from the start. He was driving a Volvo F or FL7, 8 wheel tipper, along the A43 between Kettering and Northampton when he was involved in a RTC. A car had pulled out on...

Re: The Poclain Thread "Vive le France"!!

Someone got their numbering wrong, if it's an 18 tonner it'll be a 90. The split front screen and pilot controls make it a 90B I believe. Noisy engine, may need a rebuild. Re: JCB_4cx Artic

I still stand by earlier comments, JCB didn't put the articulated design into production as they were unhappy with the machine's stability, instead preferring to pursue the equal size wheels/4 wheel steer concept. (Although I'm happy to be corrected!)

Re: JCB_4cx Artic

Have examined the picture closely, afraid I cannot see where the machine 'splits' to allow the articulation. It does appear to be a standard 4CX with the prototype cab. 'Maxtrac' refers to the rear axle, which I believe was made by JCB themselves in Wrexham, originally seen on the 'Powertrain' (the ...

Re: Hi guys! Smallholder/Crofter (Pic inc)

Hope all goes well for you today the, let us know how you get on with the machine. Sorry, but a driver/enthusiast, not a fitter so cant help much with the taking apart side of things. :-(

Re: Hi guys! Smallholder/Crofter (Pic inc)

Have posted on your other thread, but in relation to the hydraulic issues, is the pump cavitating when working?
