Hmm I haven't seen any of those yet. The only non-Kubota plant I've seen from GAP are their site dumpers lol. Thanks for letting me know.

Re: I drove this today
Nice looking bit of kit! GAP seems to be a big user of Kubota excavators, in fact I don't think I've seen any other make with their logo on it. Re: JCB Excavators Old & New
Not sure of the exact dates of JCB 801.4 model production but actions of the machines I've found range from late 1990's to around 2003/2004.
I agree that the JCB 802 does look pretty similar to the Kubota KH-28, you may be onto something there! Thanks.

Re: Hymac Excavators
Argh, why do I type before thinking things through properly... One of my greatest regrets about taking pictures of plant was not getting a picture of a Hymac 181B excavator when I had the chance (always another time kind of thing). Not sure why I thought that the FAI machines were anything othe...

Re: JCB Excavators Old & New

I also remember reading somewhere that this machine wasn't a JCB design either, but a re-...

Re: Hymac Excavators
Hymac departed from its historical "British designed" lineage when it started producing FAI-designed excavators with the launch of its 121/141/181 series of excavators. However are there any designs we know of which would have replaced the 80/90-series of excavators (580/590/1080/1290, etc...
