Re: thwaites brake drum clutch
Is there a service guide to this, as I need to do a strip down as well. Are the internal springs, and retaining clips, holding the shoes in place, also off the shelf Triumph Herald parts.

Re: New purchase... Nimbus ?
Can anyone tell me what the imperial size wing nut on the air filter is, as its missing. Its about 6mm.
I've got a load of 6mm wing nuts, but don't really want to rethread the bar that holds the filter cap on.
I take it all the threads, nuts etc on a machine of this age are going to be imperial ?

New purchase... Nimbus ?
Just bought a small dumper, to move quite a few loads of soil and bricks around the garden. I think its a Thwaites Nimbus, but can anyone confirm this. Engine is a Petter PH1, which has an oil leak from one of the valve guide tubes, so I will be doing a top end strip down at some time. First issue I...

Re: jcb 3C II head gasket replacement
Your loosing coolant, and gaining oil. Sounds like you have a leak.
Head gasket, water oil cooler exchanger or leaky liners is my guess.

Where is the best place to buy service parts, seals for rams, filters, etc... Sorry, I have a thousand questions, but you guys know much more t...

Yes, the pin through the kingpost, it is cracked pretty badly, and will need a repair. The home made looking box, goes on the hose shown above the hydraulic pump, that been unbolted. I did think it looked a non-standard part. Comes with 5 rear buckets, including a ditching bucket. Yes its a worn out...

What sort of prices are you looking at for hoses. I know its going to cost more as the lenght increases, but whats the ball park price for a 1 mtr hose, for example ?
Does it need the fluid draining to replace them ? Excuse the simple questions, as Im a complete novice with hydraulics.

Re: Looking at a 3C mk3 this weekend. Any advice !!
I take it the pump has to come off to replace the front shaft then ?? The rest of the machine is quite ropey, but being a sparky, I can sort out the electrics. I little tidy up, some welding, will make it a usable machine, that owes me nothing. Thanks for the advice. Im sure I will have a million ot...
