Re: N.Z D4D ADS

Hi Jim,

The Aus built p/s D4d was the 69K series, most of the other p/s D's in Aus were Jap built 47H's, though a few U.S. built 83J's made it here as well.

Re: N.Z D4D ADS

Not really that much work to swap them over, but as already stated the gear ratios in the s.a. tractor are not really suited to blade work, so a bit of surgery or a straight swap for an industrial ratio box would be in order.

Re: IH150B

Hi Jim,

No, not me in the saddle...these pics were taken in about '69 in Brisbane. The old 150 was pretty tired and wasn't popular with the operators; it was traded on a new 951B not long after these pics were taken.

IH150B

Found some long lost slides ...apologies for the quality, they've seen their best day I'm afraid. I've tried to tidy them up a bit.

An Oldie

Spotted this today while I was driving along a back road .. haven't seen one in years, there used to be a lot of Kato's around here back in the day.

Re: rare scraper

That's a new one on me!..at a guess I'd say that pic was taken in New Zealand or Australia.
