Re: Menck M154 german rope excavator dragline
Hi Wolfgang, great shots of some serious clamshell action. I bet you know the book "Menck Seilbagger Album" by Leo Helmschrott and i bet you know the photos of a Menck Mb operated by Charlie, swinging a wrecking ball. Its backside high in the air, Diesel fuel swapping out of its roof mount...

Re: Odd dozer, from behind the iron curtain
Hi Andy, maybe its an version of a DT75 track-type tractor, built by the tractorplant of Wolgograd. Year of introduction was 1962, powered by a 75HP 4-stroke diesel and started by an 10HP 2-stroke pony . Weight without dozerblade ~7 tons. I found the the infos and a photo for comparison HERE , sorry...

WABCO 333 FT Limestone Special
Hello Mates, found these 2 videos of a 333 FT twin engine elevator scraper working in Denmark. The ripper attached to the rear is an interesting feature. Its successor, the 353 FT even had ripper "teeth" under the blade of the bowl. Looks like she has quite an easy life and is well maintai...

Hi mates,
found this interesting italian plow:http://www.album-mmt.it/foto/v/altre-foto/strano-ma-vero/NARDI_aratro_pi_grosso_del_mondo.jpg.html
A lot of hydraulics for pitching and tilting this thing! On the italian MMT forum they told it was towed by a Fiat-Allis 41B.

Re: Royal Canadian Engineers Bulldozer ID needed
Hello Steve, regarding the hydraulic bulldozer attachment, my first guess was Garwood. But also Bucyrus Erie built such "oldschool" hydraulic blades very similar to the one in your photo. Here is one example on an International TD9 tractor: http://www.srv.net/~cathyw/td9.html Best regards,...

Here some photos from the transport of the ACCO dozer: http://www.flickr.com/photos/accodozer/sets/72157630571622082/
And, as suspected, there is not much loft of the ACCO grader:http://www.flickr.com/photos/accodozer/sets/72157630103724112/
Cheers,
Max

Re: LIEBHERR 764 DOZER
Now thats a fast dozer! Impressive sight. I knew they push good and use less fuel due to the histat-drive but didnt know they push and move that fast. Nick, youre right about the JD-Liebherr connection, John Deere sells track loaders and bulldozers under own label in the US. I visited the Liebherr f...

Re: ACCO bulldozer moves again
Hello Deas, now I had to laugh: A short weekend trip... For Australian standards, yes, its a short ride, but for us lazy Europeans used the comfort of over-population, its defenitly a holliday trip. Would need a Shelby GT 350 and a lot of money for speed limit violation fees to realize it in just 2 ...

Re: Amazing D11 home engineered model
Hi Jeremy, no problem with a repost. Cant get enuff of this model. Its just perfect, it looks like done with CNC machines, but this guy uses a Proxxon milling machine and turning machine. As far I know he has a parts book of the D11R CD and does hand sketches of all parts and then starts on his equi...

Re: Arrived today- CCM CAT D10
Hi Martin, this is such a nice model, congratulations! A real must-have. Thank you for the detail shots of it- it's just amazing how good scale models have become in the last 10 years. The only way I would know to improve it would be to put a kind of plugs into the holes of the radiator mounts, just...
