Nice pics piston :!: brings back memory's of those cold wet mornings resealing front brake units on the RD040 , Couldn`t keep pistons or seals in them :insomnia: :thumbs_up:

Yes your right, the vibromaxs do look nice but that's it . they`re plasticity, badly built and god help anyone working on them when they get older,
the robot skid steers are just the same, in fact all JCB`s are like that now. They should stick to what they`re good at 3CX`s!!!

Hi innes, yes i did know gerry well , he was my plant manager. nice bloke but could have a bit of a temper sometimes! and as for the old girls, machinery just isn`t build to last nowadays , those girls were built by Mc Graths and built to last but saying that there's not much high demo work going on...

Oh god!! thought i`d never see them bloody long reach`s again.
bane of my life for three years, not working there any more now, but i know their still being used today.
And just if you wanted to know, one is a liebherr 942 and the other a 952.

Hi broken piston, I worked for james moore earth moving for a short time in Bath.
How as far as i know they went bust years ago . Incidentally my fathers company Ranger plant was located next door to Moore's workshop in Ballyclare

Short cuts are`t always the best route!!!!
