Anyone know how to remove the filter housing? Do I need to fully raise the front bucket to drain the hydraulic fluid?
Surely leaving the bucket on the deck makes more sense?

Is there any reason why i need to raise the front bucket to do this filter? or even the main hydraulic filter as it shows in the workshop manual for that matter?

ok i'll remove the bucket Martyn as soon as i can get something to join the pipes with. Its the good steel bit that worries me

Right! i made a prop from some old irrigation pipe we had kicking around. i cut it into a channel shape and welded 2 tabs on each end (just like essexpete said) i have used 2 m10 bolts through the tabs i'm a little nervous to say the least, and the front bucket is still attached (mainly because i ha...
