Re: Quiz time - Whats this Dozer???
Fred my guess is the dozer you are sat on is a Fowler Challenger 1 because it looks like it has a two stroke lump in it?
The front radiator grill looks more like its off another machine?

Re: Quiz time - Whats this Dozer???
looks a bit like a modified Cletrac crawler, like one I looked at in Tasmania years ago but which was too far gone to save.
I'm probably miles off though:)

Could that first dozer be a Lloyd Dragon. British build after WW11.

What about an old Allis hd 10 ... the base machine looks just like one I owned very temporarily.
The first dozer that is, also I think diamond allis logo partially obscured on side front

Hi Jeremy,
Your guess is pretty close, but for the wrong reasons.
The engine is a two stroke lump as you say, but not a Fowler, its a GM.
The tractor is a Fowler Challenger 1 though, the running gear shuould give that away.
The engine and bonnet were transplanted from an Allis Chalmers.
The seccond tractor is pretty rare, if anyone is looking for a clue it was European built in the 1950s.
Anyone got any ideas
Fred

Hi, Fowler Man.
Nice photos. Thanks for sharing. Would your second mystery crawler be a Breda?
A kew-ree-yus mind would like to know.

Wottizzittt????? The title on the last 'pitchyer' is incorrect. The year in the date should read '1950'.
"Europe's Best Tractor"???????????????????? They don't mind blowing their own trumpet, do they?
