D6R LGP for a poewrtrain overahaul

Post #1 by SRB » Sun Jul 13, 2008 9:46 am

D6 back from Jamaica, hours are ripe on it for a full powertrain overhaul, this includes:
Engine full overhaul - trusty 3306
Torque rebearing and seal
Transmission and beval gear, rebearing and seal
Diff steer unit overhaul
Final drives rebearing and seal.

12,500 hours and never been into any of the components, the undercarriage is 80-90% good, so probably won't be touching that, the equalizer bar needs a couple of bearings thrown at it.

Hi Nicky, will probably end up a certified powertrain rebuild, a bit of a cheaper option, still get 3yr, 6000 hour warranty on powertrain though.

Seems a fair option to have an almost complete warranty.Stress free 6000 hrs hopefully.
