Hi there mucker nice to here from you i did put a post on here if anybody worked for frank lyons you should put your name to it aswell mate, you probley would have heard of me i was the guy sacked for putting 5 bottles of fairy liquid in the wheel wash at SQ in hertfordshire lol

thanks neversweat it was very funny and well worth getting the sack for mate it was a poxy job anyway have you ever seen a wheel wash with loads of washing up liquid in it??? wish id taken some pics of it

nice one cranky i like it aint heard of that one before mate lol i was in s/q pit for about 6 months back in 2004 stripping overburden and digging out ballast yosser was on the blade with us at the time dont know if you knew him or not i used to work with him on pryors beforehand . i cant remember the dumptruck drivers names though .

yes i remember yosser very funny guy good foreman but a massive drunk lol. there was loads of dumptruck drivers nick was 1 a guy they called barbie.

thats right cranky yosser was a right drunk but sober a decent bloke i ve heard that he aint on there no more lost his licence and he,s job shame really he went like that a good bloke and a good blade driver but i remember nick now you mention it drove one of the A30,s dumpers think he lived at stevenage .

hello tim i remember the stansted airport job i was on there for pryors at the time on a 215 cat digger a good peice of kit well made and strong . i remember the D7H and box think clive farrah used to drive it he got made up to a foreman shortly afterwards ,the 245 in the picture had a oversize bucket on it also greedy boards on the sides the old girl handled it well though . the bloke in the picture driving the foden roll on/off is tony gatfield he,s retired now but i still see him about a bit lives not far from me. THE GOOD OLE DAYS

i have only ever seen one other high rise with a CCU on it ,that was a D6 belonging to priory park construction ,it was towing a Birtley box levelling a sports field near to where i used to live ,i even managed a few goes on it while the op had a break
