Hi all,Just taken images of this JCB 3D MkII backhoe loader,YOM ; 1972.(HTU 952K-Originally registered in Cheshire-by Gunn JCB ?) It was renovated originally by the JCB Factory and presented to a Midlands train preservation society. It has now moved on and will be completed with the proper fitment of an original cab/door etc.

Interesting machine David ... looks like a complete history of the 3D ... mk1 dipper, boom is an early mk2, mk1 mudguard superstructure, early mk2 or 1975 loading arms, and a mk3 cab :dizzy:

My thoughts exactly Martyn - note the lack of Hydra clamps and that boom - well I never - looks almost prototype :eh:
