Interesting machine, Mervyn. What's the advantage of an auger scraper over a normal one ?

Hi John,
The auger scraper is a self loader,The auger pulls the material away from the cutting edge so there is less resistance on material coming into the bowl so less tractive effort required to fill the load. Also has a recess on the ejector for unloading. This info is from the cat patent of 1985 so this isnt anything new.Cheers Mervyn
