I beleive the WA800 at corus was the one at Hillhead 07, am still gutted H/head 09 has been cancelled. :(

I managed to get a pic of the WA600, not sure why the decals are missing though! The machine is certainly not as clean as this now!

I'm not saying the 992 is a handsom bit of kit,but.......that Komatsu is an ugly unimpressive thing :|

aye thats the machine, was prepared with the fire retarding hose covers up here in the north east, it left chester le street depot and ended up at hillhead, first week on site it suffered engine problems an issue with the oil pump, it hasnt been the most reliable performer, unlike the 992.

That Komatsu WA 800 was at the Hillhead 2007 show as i remember myself and my mate Jim M (from the forum) chatting to two people about it. Pity about the weather though!

Only ever made it to Hillhead in 2005 which was a cracking summers day! Heard about the localised flooding in 07 and stayed away which i was gutted about, and was looking forward going this year till the bankers managed to screw up the world economy and forced the cancellation of this years show!

I think the WA 600 is trying too hard to copy the 988H which in my humble opinion is a nice looking piece of kit.

The conditions at corus look hard on machines, it will be interesting to see how the big K's fair in a year or so's time. That 992 (one of 2 or 3 working there at the time) had seen better days but seemed to come up with the goods.
