A couple of pictures of yours truly driving one of Alex Sims 974 Liebherr's
The hammer is a Rammer G120 which weighed in at 7 tons.
Any of you come accross this firm on your travels?

I got some photos at home of that machine working up at the top end of Torquay, back in '91. I'll post them up when I get back.

I think he is living up nr. Exeter now.

Cracking photos. I spy a not so common TCM wheel laoder in the first photo too.

YES YOUR CORRECT!!

He had an 870 and a 860 and a mixed fleet of O&k's
I have many O&K pictures but perhaps need to start a new thread as you have slapped my legs once tonight already!!!

Hello Luke, has alex packed up now ? I knew him as a sea defence contractor. Also as an O&K enthusiast Those dumptrucks not my cuppa !! How much did the liebherr cost ? Pete May from near Winchester runs three 974 machines. I've Not been a Liebherr fan either im afraid. Regards Gordon.

rumor has it he is no longer in this country he was in a farm at tedburn st mary near exeter :thumbs_up:
