Sad day tomorrow.

Hi All,
Just thought I'd mention, I'm off to Milton Keynes tomorrow for the funeral of my grand-daughter,
Life can be so cruel. She was just 26 years of age and has been battling against cystic fibrosis all of her short life.

Very sad to hear that. Your Grand daughter is a similar age to our children and I still think of them as very young.
One of our local agricultural main agent managers had a daughter with the same cruel disease. She was slightly older than our oldest and battled away with massive parental support. She went through uni as well but it caught her in the end. She had 2 sisters who are thankfully free of cf.
With hope there will be a cure in the future.
