Hello, I’m new to dumpers. I’m hoping someone on here will recognise this one.
It has a Petter PH2 engine, 4wd, disc brakes, hydraulic steering and tip.
It’s suffered the usual neglect, my first job is to repair the brakes....
Dumper identification, please

Re: Dumper identification, please
Hi David and welcome to this great forum. I am also unable to identify your make and model but you have a big head start than what I started with as you have some ID tags with a Type number and possible a model number. The gearbox is used in many different makes and models of Dumpers so they must be a good one. your brakes will be a straight forward repair if anything is required other than adjustment.
Something that I can suggest while your waiting for the correct reply on your make and model is start to do all the servicing work on it. changing oils and filters and ensure that you have nice clean and fresh fuel in the tank and your new toy will thank you for it by being a reliable little dumpy.

Hi Jorg,
Many thanks for the identification and photos. Great to know it’s a Liner, the man I bought if from had no idea of the make, despite having owned it for many years.
The fuel and oil tanks are very distinctive, but I couldn’t find anything like it in my net searches....you’ve saved me hours.

Thanks cobbadog and essexpete for useful suggestions and web links. I’ll be onto oil and filters etc pronto. This dumper ain’t gonna be no toy, it’s going back to useful work in my steeply sloping woodland... hence the need for 4x4 and properly working brakes.
