Post #1 by bjay45 » Wed Mar 07, 2018 12:34 am

Hi all,
I've got 247ts sanderson teleporter
I wonder can anyone tell me what type or model number of Ford engine is fitted?
Also what size are the rear tyres?

Any help appreciated

Not absolutely 100% but I would think it would be a Ford 4cyl tractor engine very similar/same as the Ford 6600/6010 agricultural tractors.
I think the drive axle would also be from a Ford tractor skid.
Can you read off the size of tyre from the sid wall? Have a look on the inside walls as well.

Or 2712E, isn't there any ID code on the block?

I might be wrong but I think Sanderson used the agric family of engines rather than the industrial Dorset/Dover type.
To the op are the injectors hidden inside the rocker cover or outside and visible?
