Read an article about pictured "beast"... can't remember much of it though other then a DAF engine provided the pulling power...

The top picture - I'm tempted to suggest the tractor unit might be an ex WW2 FWD SU COE.
It looks to be a 4x4, fuel tank looks right, cab has extra windows each side of rear centre one (which would be a sensible and easy adaptation).
I can't tell from low-res pic if doors are flat bottomed - if so I'd be certain it is FWD.

Love the last photo the 580C in a drained canal; note the front windscreen fastened to the back of the cab, air conditioning the traditional way. :lol:
