hi
these pumps are timed to the gear via a key/keyway.
make sure you mark the pump and the timing casing so they go back in the same place,as there is a small amount of movement in the pump bolt holes to allow you to alter the pump timing slightly.

Hi Again Guys
It's been a while but just jumped back on Trying to get my Cav pump sorted out on my dumper and today took it off the engine and is now sitting on my workbench.
My plan was to send it away to get overhauled but before spending £250 getting a reconditioned one does anyone know how I could check if the electric Stop can be checked. On this model the cut out is via the Key on the Dash.I have had a similar problem with my Cav pump on my 3C with the old pull stop that was causing the pump not to work and sorted it myself.....just wondering if this electric stop could be the cause of all my problems ??
