Its a part of the Film making complex to demonstrate how special effects are made,the Priestman is located in a "London" disaster senario.There is also a Atlas Copco compressor and a concrete mixer there as well.

Ahh now I see !!

Here is one from my archives, not a Priestman but of a Smith Rodley Crane/Dragline in action during construction of the M27 south coast motorway, as I recall one of the batters had slipped and they brought in the old dragline to pull up the slipped material.

Hi Nick, that SMITH is a model 21, probably powered by a 6-LW Gardner. A real smooth machine to operate too. Their weak point was the slew pinion, I recall replacing many of them.

Thats a great shot of the Smith 21.
In the funny old world we live in, for a short period of time Smith, Hymac and Heathfield-Haulamatic were all owned by Northern Engineering Industries (NEI).
